One Team, Not a Chain of Subcontractors
The person who draws your plans is the same person who answers when something needs changing.
You send the measurements and project information; we send back a coordinated drawing pack your builder can price from and build from. No survey to wait for, no missing information, no "refer to the structural engineer" notes.
An architectural drawing has to do two jobs at once. It needs to satisfy a planning officer who's never seen your property, and it needs to give a builder enough detail to put a wall in the right place. A lot of drawings only manage one of those. Ours are built to do both, from a small side extension through to a full new build.
A lot of our new enquiries come from someone who's already been through this once, with a different firm, and it didn't go smoothly.
The person who draws your plans is the same person who answers when something needs changing.
You know the cost before we start, not after the invoice arrives.
Every local authority reads plans slightly differently. We design with that in mind from the first draft.
If your project qualifies for a simpler route, we tell you honestly, rather than pushing you toward something you don't need.
Beyond the drawings themselves, here's what actually changes when the design side is handled properly from the start.
Detailed, dimensioned drawings mean accurate quotes, no allowances for missing information, no guessing on sizes the drawings should have shown.
Clear drawings mean fewer phone calls mid-build and fewer costly changes once work has started.
Problems that would normally surface halfway through construction get spotted at the drawing stage instead, because our engineers are involved from day one.
Drawings built around real council requirements from the outset tend to face fewer challenges later.
No passing your project between departments or chasing updates from three or four separate people.
Not a generic layout copied from elsewhere, one shaped around the property's actual quirks and how it'll be used.
Architectural work is hard to judge from the outside until it's too late, so here's what we think actually matters.
Nothing leaves us without a second pair of eyes on it first.
Not the fastest possible one, the one that's actually likely. Tell us your deadline and we'll confirm honestly whether we can meet it.
Our engineers are involved early, not brought in to fix a problem after the design is finished.
You're working with an established business, Company No. 16583550, not someone you can't trace if things go wrong.
We talk through your property, your budget and what you're trying to achieve, before anything gets drawn.
Measurements are taken and initial drawings come back for you to react to and adjust.
Feedback gets folded in until the design is something you're genuinely happy with, not just something you'll accept.
Plans are finalised, checked against structural requirements, and prepared ready for the next stage.
Residential and small-development design support for projects across the United Kingdom.
Better space, better flow and a design that belongs to the property.
Transform underused space into practical accommodation.
Coherent design from site opportunity to planning information.
Garden rooms, garages and ancillary spaces.
Dropped kerb and vehicle-access application drawings.
A planning application on its own doesn't get a building built, and most projects need more than one service to actually move forward. Here's what usually goes alongside architectural design.
Applications prepared and submitted on your behalf, tracked through to a decision.
See how planning permission works →Calculations for beams, foundations and load bearing changes, signed off by a certified engineer.
Get your structural work checked →Turning unused roof space into a proper room, with the structural side handled from the outset.
Explore loft conversion options →Additional living space designed around how the property will actually be used.
See what's possible for your extension →Notices and agreements handled properly when work affects a shared wall or boundary.
Sort your party wall notice →It depends on the size and scope of the job. We agree a fixed fee with you before any work starts, covering exactly what's included, whether that's drawings only or the full package through planning and structural. Send us the project details for an accurate quote.
"Architect" is a legally protected title in the UK, only someone registered with the Architects Registration Board can use it. An architectural designer offers very similar drawing and design expertise without that specific registration, usually at a lower cost, and works well for most extensions and conversions.
It depends on the complexity of the project and how quickly we receive your information and feedback. Tell us your deadline at the consultation and we'll confirm honestly whether we can meet it.
Architectural design covers the drawings themselves, getting them right, detailed and ready to submit. Approval sits with our planning permission service, which handles the application and manages it with your council. Many clients use both together, so nothing gets lost between the two stages.
We're based in Swansea and take on projects across the UK. Everything is produced from the information you send, measurements, sketches, photos and the site address, so there's no need to wait for a survey visit.
Yes, that's the purpose of the drawings. They're detailed and dimensioned enough for a builder to quote accurately and build from, without guessing or coming back with constant questions.
Need drawings your builder can work from? Send us your measurements and project details. We'll come back with a fixed fee and an honest timeline.
